BottleMark recommends the following...
BottleMark prints custom orders on a first-come, first-served basis. We aim to ship within a few days, but be prepared to wait up to 2 weeks in case of high volume or technical problems. See our front page for a current estimate of time until shipping. If you need your order for a specific deadline, contact us and/or place a note in the "Special Instructions" box at checkout. You will automatically receive a tracking code email when your order ships from our production warehouse.
Once shipped, your order will take 2-5 more days in the mail, depending on your selected shipping class. We recommend placing orders at least two weeks before any deadline.
Customers who need their order in less than 2 weeks can request Rush Production. For an additional service fee, your order jumps to the top of the print queue and ships the next day, thus skipping any production delays. You can select this option at checkout.
Customers who needs their orders ASAP can also choose Express Shipping. US Express orders will arrive in 2-3 days; International Express orders will take 5-8 days. Note that Express does not include Rush Production, so for the fastest service, select both Rush Production and Express Shipping.
To get a shipping estimate for your order, place what you want to order in your cart. Go to the cart in the top-right corner, select your country, state, and zip code and you'll get estimates for the shipping tiers tailored to your order. These are the possible options:
★ Economy Shipping is our least expensive shipping option, available for small orders. Economy prices vary based on the size of the order, so you get the best possible rate for your weight. Economy shipping uses the most cost-effective shipping option, usually USPS First Class. Transit will usually take 3-5 business days after we ship. Economy shipments of 20 caps or fewer may not come with tracking codes.
★ Standard Shipping is an upgrade from the Economy class, and usually uses USPS Priority Mail. Standard shipping typically delivers 2-3 days after we ship, always comes with tracking, and is usually handled more gently in the shipping process than Economy orders.
★ Express Shipping is available for very fast delivery. A typical Express order will arrive 1-2 days after we ship and comes with tracking codes and delivery confirmation. Please note that Express orders do not include rush production, so for fastest delivery please select "Rush" during checkout. We do not guarantee delivery dates with Express shipping, even if the shipping service provides one. If you have a strict deadline, please contact us.
★ Local Pickup is free, if you live in the Houston area, but we discourage it. Shipping within Houston is faster and ultimately cheaper—don't be tempted by the nominal "free." But should you prefer to pick up your order, we will email you when your order is ready, so we can schedule an appointment.
Mail delivery inside Houston is only 1 to 2 days, so shipping to your door is often much faster than scheduling to pick it up at our warehouse. Unless you live close to Spring Branch, it will cost more in gas (and time) than economy shipping. To help you make the decision, we prepared these handy maps. For the average order, vehicle, and cost of fuel, the highlighted areas show approximately where:
All locations outside the US require International Shipping. International shipping costs vary by location and weight. International shipping is regrettably expensive and slow, but we fanatically calculate the cost for every package to be as low as possible. For all mail classes, additional time (sometimes substantial) may be necessary for customs clearance. Order well in advance of any deadline for international orders!
★ Economy International (usually 2-6 weeks) is our least expensive shipping option but also the slowest. Prices vary based on the size of the order, so you get the best possible rate for your weight.
★ Standard International (usually 6-10 business days) is an upgrade from our Economy class that comes with noticeable faster delivery.
★ Express International (usually 3-5 business days) is our fastest international service. Express does not include Rush Production, so be sure to add Rush Production for the fastest turn-around.
While all international packages have a tracking code assigned, they may not always be tracked closely. Packages usually get scanned as inside the destination country only after they clear customs.
Customs clearance and any duties and taxes due on import are the responsibility of the purchaser. (In European countries, for instance, both import duties and the VAT of 15-25% are due; Canada has no duties but charges GST, HST, and PST.) Many countries exempt packages of some small value from duties and taxes; these may pass through customs faster. The value for Canada is $20; EU countries have removed all "low-value consignment relief" limits for the VAT so tax will always be due, and we do not collect VAT. Postal or customs handling fees sometimes also apply. You will need to look up the rules that apply in your jursidiction to know precisely your obligations, rates, and exemptions. We will not mark orders as "gift;" all orders ship under "merchandise."
